At Cary First, our purpose is to demonstrate the love & share the good news of Jesus Christ everyday, everywhere, with everyone.

But why is this our purpose, and how do we fulfill it?
Our Why
There are 175,000 people in our town - many of whom have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. We know that without faith in this gospel, unbelievers in our town will spend eternity separated from Christ. Romans 10:13-14 tells us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, but they cannot call on a name they've not heard, and they cannot hear unless we tell them.
Our How
In light of our community's need for the gospel, we must ask ourselves first how to create intersections between us & our community, creating opportunities to demonstrate God's love & share His gospel with those who might not have heard it. These strategic intersections come in the form of community outreach events & ministries.
Once the gospel is shared, we must be equipped to disciple those who come to faith so that they grow in their relationship with Jesus, and become a disciple who makes disciples. We encourage this growth by creating an environment of support, encouragement, and accountability for those within the body of Christ.
Our Ministry Partners
We acknowledge that the problem of lostness requires all hands on deck. Fortunately, we are not alone in our mission, so we partner with other organizations within the body of Christ in order to better achieve our purpose.
We live in pursuit of eternity.

Those of us who have faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ look forward to an eternity spent worshipping & glorifying our Creator. But while we still live on this earth, we are commissioned to share the gospel of the kingdom of God, inviting others into relationship with Jesus Christ and the hope of eternity. Our task is to share the gospel with our town so that they might join us in the multitudes of heaven.
